YOUTH SPORT INJURIES: A SOCIAL EPIDEMIC
Welcome!
Youth sports provide millions of children across the United States with opportunities for physical development, teamwork, discipline, and personal growth. However, the increasing number of injuries suffered by young athletes has become a major social epidemic. This portfolio explores youth sports injuries through both argumentative research and literary analysis.
The projects included in this portfolio examine the causes of youth sports injuries, the importance of prevention and safety education, and how societal pressure placed on young athletes can be analyzed through the absurdist philosophy of Franz Kafka.
Through these assignments, I developed stronger analytical writing skills, improved my use of evidence, and learned how to construct more meaningful academic arguments.
